This website was launched in January 2009 by Bill Daly and Denise Lee, a husband and wife team of award-winning journalists who saw the need for authentically local online news in the New York and Long Island
MexusNews mission is to provide accurate, timely local news for the community, to keep citizens informed about important issues, to tell the stories of the people who live and work here, and to give locally owned businesses the opportunity to reach a very targeted audience of local residents and tourists alike.
